Debra A. Panela Receives the Archdiocese of Hartford’s St. John Neumann Award

Debra A. Panela, paralegal at LTKE LAW, was recently honored by receiving the Archdiocese of Hartford’s St. John Neumann Award on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Aqua Turf Club. This award recognizes volunteers who are nominated by their schools for their commitment to their schools. The award is named after St. John Neumann, the first American saint, who was a leader in Catholic education and a defender of the poor.

Ms. Panela commented that she was “truly humbled to receive this award” from the Archdiocese of Hartford. She chairs two major fundraisers for her son’s school, East Shoreline Catholic Academy. The fundraisers include “The Butterbraid & Cake roll Fundraiser” each Spring, and a Pie and “Cookie dough Fundraiser” for each fall.
